I was born and raised in Calgary, and spent most of my formative years hiking, climbing, fishing, skiing, and cycling in the Canadian Rockies. I continue to enjoy our beautiful surroundings with my wife, Karen, and seven children.
My passion for investing began during my initial work career in the petroleum industry, eight years of which were overseas. In 1992, I turned this passion for investing and a strong desire to help others take care of their financial well-being into a new career.
I now enjoy a thriving wealth management practice. I have teamed up with several other advisors with whom I share a commitment to hard work and integrity. All of the partners are licensed through Assante Capital Management Ltd., which is registered with the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada.
