Graduated with a BComm in Finance and Economics from Saint Mary's University in 1988. Previous to that a BSc graduate of Dalhousie University in 1986. Sciences really did not appeal to me, however Finance really did. Personally invested through portfolio managers since 1986. Took on a sales position with DuroTest Canada in September 1988 to gain people skills. Became Atlantic Regional manager in January 1989. Trained and supported a sales team. Resigned in 1997 and began my Finance career with Ramey Investments in January 1997. Obtained Certified Financial Planner designation in 2002. March 2016, Ramey Investments joined Assante Financial Management Ltd. Been very happy to service my clients for insurance and investment advice since 1997.
