What We Do
What is a Financial Advisor?
A Financial Advisor is an accredited individual who acts as a financial coach, or is sometimes referred to as a personal C.F.O. Our role is to understand our clients, and their financial goals and dreams. It involves doing a thorough financial analysis, and then creating a strategy to reach those goals. Each year your progress is reviewed, and adjustments, if necessary are made.
It is often said that when it comes to finances, most people don't plan to fail, but fail to plan. Our role as Financial Advisors is to help you set meaningful goals, and to provide clarity about your financial future. As trusted Advisors, we are committed to your success.
Many people think that Financial Advisors simply "sell" investments. Nothing could be further from the truth. While the right investment strategy is an important "piece" of a Financial Plan, and must be customized to each client’s situation, financial success depends more on the right behavior towards disciplined saving and investing.
Our beliefs:
- Without a financial plan and long-term perspective, financial decisions are driven by ad hoc emotional considerations rather than logic.
- Most investors do not have the time, temperament or training to manage all aspects of their personal financial affairs.
- On occasion, a willingness to stand apart from the crowd is essential for investment success.
- A balanced approach to investments is the only way to reduce overall risk and increase rates of return.
- Reviewing an investment portfolio on an annual basis is critical to the implementation of an on-going financial plan.
