Tim Ramey, CFP

Investment Advisor

   After graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (majoring in Finance & Marketing) from Saint Mary's University in 1984, Tim began his business career working for Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. In 1990, after numerous promotions, Tim was offered the senior executive position to run the Canadian Division for Walt Disney Attractions based in Toronto. 

   In 1998, Tim had the opportunity to return to Nova Scotia as Vice President with a newly formed company in the Scotia Investments Group. 

   In 2000, Tim felt the exceptional experience he acquired in two previous executive positions would be well suited to effectively help develop the future direction of Ramey Investments Incorporated. A firm started in 1975 by his father, Keith Ramey.

   Through ongoing eduction, with the Canadian Securities Institute, he completed the Canadian Securities Course, Professional Financial Planners Course, Branch Managers, and the Partner's, Directors and Senior Officers Course. Finally, in 2002, Tim successfully completed the Financial Planners Standards  Council exam and became a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Professional. He is a proven business leader who believes individuals and families need to treat their households like a business and the better that household is run, the greater the dividends will be to the people responsible.
