Rick Langille, CFP®, EPC

Wealth Management Advisor
Assante Financial Management Ltd.

At a very young age, I knew I didn’t want to grow up poor in the country. As my teacher said, if you want money someday, you put your pennies in the bank and eventually you will have money. Over time, I learned that gaining wealth wasn’t as simple as that…. this method would only provide me with a potful of pennies in the end.

I graduated from community college, and I started my financial career at a finance company, then moved on to a chartered bank. I learned credit skills inside out and managed and helped many people, but I felt something was missing.

I decided to go into the investment world in 1991, at the same time my third child was born. My focus in-life was always to take care of my family, clients, business and in doing so, they will take care of me. I worked diligently at improving my knowledge by attaining my CFP and EPC while taking care of families wealth and business issues, but again something was still missing.

Then in 1997 when I joined Assante, it offered my clients a team approach … and that was what I was missing. I have surrounded myself with professionals within Assante and outside Assante on our team based practice. This allows us to provide true wealth management. We connect with our family of clients in our offices, or around their kitchen table, or wherever they find it comfortable to talk about their goals and expectations.

Linda and I raised our family in Nova Scotia where we are truly at home. We are very proud of our three children and grandchildren.

Throughout the years I have told my clients that I will never retire as long as I’m able to work, and to provide true value, and that I will be available for them. I may not be in Nova Scotia all the time. However I am available to connect with them from wherever we are in this great country of ours.

Krista Bartkow

Wealth Management Advisor
Assante Financial Management Ltd.

After being a stay-at-home mom for many years, I was ready to get back into the work force, and in 2018, I was offered a position as Administrative Assistant for a senior Wealth Planner at Langille Wealth Partners.

I soon recognized how important our team approach was to our clients and the comfort and knowledge we provided them. I realized I wanted to become more engaged and set out to obtain the education required to work with clients in achieving their financial goals.

Thru hard work and dedication, I’ve completed the Canadian Investment Funds Course, ETF for Mutual Funds and Alternative Mutual Fund courses. This allows me to proudly be a Wealth Management Advisor.

The financial services industry is a complex, ever evolving world, that requires continuous education, and I am committed to achieving the certifications that will provide me with the knowledge and ability to advise clients for years to come.

I have found a passion in building relationships with clients and discovering what is important to them. I work hard to help them meet their financial goals and achieve the future they deserve. Whether you are just starting to think of your future or want to look at a new approach, I look forward to building a relationship with you.

Dev Reynolds, CFP®

Wealth Management Advisor
Assante Financial Management Ltd.

If there was one thing that drew me into the financial planning field it was a deep desire to help people.  Now over twenty-five years later, this desire is still as strong today as it was back then. Having clients place their trust in me is still the absolute best tribute that I could ever hope to receive.

When I am not working with my clients, I enjoy traveling, gardening and spending time with my family. If there is one thing that I’ve instilled into my family, it is a strong work ethic.  If you are passionate about what you do for a living then it is not “work.”

Trying to navigate through the maze of the financial world can be very challenging to the average person. Having a trusted advisor to guide them through this maze is extremely important to many people. My clients know that whether it’s regarding their investments, estate, taxes or any family financial matters that I’m always there to help them.

Tyson Langille, BBA

Financial Advisor
Assante Financial Management Ltd.

Tyson’s journey into the wealth management services started back 1996 when he completed his HR Block tax preparation course to help his father with tax preparation for a client. In doing this, it showed him that there’s more to managing client assets than he though, and since that day, he hasn’t stopped working for them.

After graduating from University in 2003, Tyson took a position with another firm and after not seeing the same approach to wealth planning that he saw at Assante, he made the move back in 2005.

In becoming the Branch Manager and understanding this role he knew he wanted to do more, so he took on the role as a junior advisor under a senior advisor at the firm. Tyson finds it very rewarding to help his clients reach their goals by always putting their needs first.

Outside of the office, Tyson is proud to call Brookside his home for the past 6 years where him and his wife have been able to watch their two beautiful children grow and enjoy the country style living, gardening, hiking behind their home, and enjoying the time spent with their family and friends.
