For 20 plus years I have looked to improve the process in which we guide our clients to create, protect and ultimately pass on wealth to and for their families. Innovation is in our process; on behalf of the families I work for, I will continue to disrupt the confusion and frustration brought on by today’s financial industry. We have broken away from the status quo that is the Wall Street/Bay Street business model, providing alternative ideas, strategies and ultimately solutions. Always searching for a better way.  

There is no better experience than to have a client who first enters my office feeling overwhelmed and frustrated leave with an overwhelming sense of calm – a feeling that comes from gaining control over ones finances. When not at work, like most of our clients nothing is more important than time with family. In the summer we are at the cottage, in the winter we are in the rinks watching our two boys follow their passion to play hockey.

Rodney Estabrooks

Manager, Client Relations And Business Development

A people person at heart, Rodney is an experienced Investment Advisor with several years of Investments experience in a wide variety of roles including Wealth Management, Portfolio Management and investment consulting. 

He has experience managing portfolios of individuals, families, trusts and charities and his role now is to work with the Assante team to provide strategic advice to those in the investment industry.

After building many successful tenures at some of Canada's largest banks, Rodney now helps his colleague’s in the investment industry to find a better way to take care of the their clients while at the same time building a better life for their own families through Assante's Family Wealth practice in the Toronto East area.

Philanthropic thinking is the backbone of who Rodney is as a person. He has always strived to put people in situations where they have the best opportunity to succeed  

When Rodney’s not managing client relationship or sitting on charity boards, you will find him spending time with his family at his cottage, on the golf course, on the lake or vacationing in Florida. Rodney and his spouse Nancy live in the Durham region with their two children — Mackenzie and Bryce — and their Golden Doodle Kelsey.

Tamar Daniel is a Business Associate with over 20 years experience in the financial industry. Her career started as a teller at TD bank and first began working with Brett and Paul in 2006. Tamar is a massive advocate for her clients. Her ability to provide solutions comes through her hard work, dedication, and overall proficiency. For over a decade, she has provided effective and conducive service to their clients. As a liaison, Tamar ensures a smooth and seamless interaction between her clients, and operations. On days where she is not at work, Tamar likes to spend her time with family, friends, cooking and playing piano.
