Anthony Reino, CFP®

Senior Financial Planning Advisor

With over 30 years in the financial services industry, Anthony has been able to hone his financial planning skills and help his clients comfortably achieve their financial goals and transition into retirement with no worries. Having held investment specialist and financial planning positions with various large Canadian banks, he brings a strong understanding of the personal financial industry to help his clients navigate this often-confusing world. Anthony strives to focus on searching for the very best and appropriate solutions for his clients and their families in the same manner as he deals with his own family’s financial needs. Personalized and individual service is paramount to his client service model.

Anthony was born and raised in the Toronto area and obtained his degree in Business Management from Ryerson Polytechnical Institute (now known as Toronto Metropolitan University). He pursued his industry credentials in the mid-nineties starting with the Canadian Securities Course then subsequently obtained his certified financial planning (CFP®) designation. Anthony is also Life and Disability Insurance licenced to ensure that all aspects of his clients’ financial profile are addressed.

Anthony and his family have made Whitby their home since 1997 where they raised their two boys. He and his wife are now slowly entering the empty nest stage with one son beginning his path in life in Toronto while the other is currently still home as he establishes himself.

One of his favourite pastimes that he actually finds relaxing is renovating and he has spent many years getting the current family home just to their liking. It is this passion for creativity and detail that led him to volunteer his time on numerous occasions to Habitat for Humanity. He has helped families build their homes in Uxbridge and he and his sons volunteered recently with the Northumberland chapter to build two homes for families in the Port Hope community. Anthony finds it very satisfying to do something you really enjoy while truly making a positive impact on people’s lives. This is the value he brings when working with all his clients in building their financial plans.
