Our Team

Tasha has been helping families achieve their financial goals since 1995.  Tasha was a Financial Advisor with CIBC Investor Services Inc. for 15 years prior to joining the Huron Shores Financial Group in 2012. Tasha earned an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1994 from McMaster University and has since attained the Certified Financial Planner, Registered Retirement Consultant, Financial Management Advisor and Canadian Investment Manager designations. Tasha is also an Insurance Advisor with Assante Estate and Insurance Services Inc.

Tasha and her husband Damon relocated from Oakville to Sarnia in 2012. Tasha is actively involved with Sarnia's  'Couture for the Cure' charity group . She also keeps busy gardening, hiking, visiting her daughter in Toronto, and spending time with her son who is a Financial Advisor with our team.

Damon has been helping clients improve their financial well being since 1998. Prior to joining the Huron Shores Financial Group, Damon was an Investment Counsellor with United Financial (now Assante Private Client), a division of CI Private Counsel LP in their Private Client program. Like his wife Tasha, he graduated from McMaster University in 1994 with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree. Damon has since attained the Chartered Financial Analyst, Certified Financial Planner, Financial Management Advisor and Canadian Investment Manager designations.

Damon is also an Advisor with Assante Estate and Insurance Services Inc.  

In his spare time, Damon likes to cook. He has quite the reputation for his hand crafted pizzas cooked in the wood burning oven he constructed himself. Always looking for inspiration, he and Tasha love to try new restaurants when visiting their daughter Zoe in Toronto.

Kyle earned a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in finance from Griffith Business School at Griffith University in Queensland Australia. He joined Huron Shores Financial Group of Assante Capital Management Ltd. in 2023 and is currently working towards his life insurance license. Through past experiences he has proven to be efficient in Analytical thinking, decision making, with the ability to handle complex financial problems and customer concerns. Kyle is passionate about helping his clients achieve their financial goals.

During his spare time, Kyle can be found engaging in a variety of sports. He has always been enthusiastic about playing golf and hockey and has recently expanded his array of hobbies and Joined the Sarnia Lambton Pickleball Club.

Michelle Morin is our Administrative Associate here at Huron Shores Financial Group. Michelle is an energetic professional, providing high-level support and assistance to our financial security advisors. She joined the finance industry over 7 years ago after completing the Business Administration Accounting program through Lambton College.

Michelle, her husband, and their Australia Shepard Dog ‘’Newton’’ like to spend their spare time with their friends and family.  Whether its going hiking, playing board games, or planning their next vacation
