Jessica provides comprehensive and client-focused advice that allows you to meet your own individualized goals. She loves to make you feel confident and secure in your financial decisions, and to create a kinder future for yourself and your family.
As a result, she has a passion for financial planning. Financial planning provides a breadth and depth of advice encompassing your whole financial picture, which helps you to make the most of what you have, and live your best possible life. She also has a passion for enabling you to live out your values, whether it is through being strategic in your spending, in philanthropic giving, or by choosing investments in your portfolio that align with your values and can have a positive impact in our world.
Jessica began her career as a teacher, and transferred her love of educating and helping people to the financial industry in 2012. Since then, she has earned her securities license, and become a Certified Financial Planner® professional and earned her Master Financial Advisor in Philanthropy (MFA-P) designation to further develop her knowledge and skills in philanthropic planning.
Christine Butchart, R.F.P., CFP
Senior Financial Planning Advisor
Christine has been in the financial business since 1977 and achieved her first planning designation in 1985. She is a Certified Financial Planner® professional and a Registered Financial Planner (R.F.P.). She also holds the Chartered Financial Divorce Specialist qualification. She is licensed to sell securities, mutual funds, and insurance.
She has taught continuing education courses and seminars for the Toronto, Peel, and Upper Grand School Boards, on topics such as financial planning and investment planning. Chris been featured in industry publications such as Investment Executive.
Planning is the core of what Christine does for her clients. A person of high ethical standards, it is critical for her that the advice and recommendations she gives you is always in your best interest.
She still sits in meetings with clients who have more complicated situations, though is now primarily in a consulting role with Jessica, who is doing most of the client work. She is enjoying the continuing stimulation of interesting client cases, while having more time to herself.
Jane Blanchard
Client Liaison
Jane is our Client Liaison. She worked with Chris from 2002-2008, and then re-joined the office in August 2016. While Chris and Jessica are busy meeting clients and working on their financial plans, Jane is using her incredible organizational skills to stay on top of all of the many activities we have going on in our busy office, and ensuring all our clients are being looked after. As liaison, Jane makes sure you always have the information and service that you need from us, and that you are staying up to date with your financial plan. She arranges appointments and manages Chris and Jessica's schedules. She is a great information resource for clients, and is always happy to answer questions and make sure you get what you need from us.
Jane is a strategic member of our team, and our clients have come to appreciate her diligent work ethic, friendly telephone manner, and dedication to providing first class service. She works hard to ensure that you receive the highest level of care.
Kim Coelho
Administrative Assistant
Kim is our Administrative Assistant. She has an extensive business background, specifically in customer service, client management and quality assurance. She has a keen eye for detail, a natural sensitivity to the needs of our clients, and is a friendly voice on the phone. We are thrilled to have her on the team.
Kim is accountable for general office administration and phone reception. She prepares documents and gathers the information that Chris and Jessica need to be ready for your meetings, and also completes meeting followup activities such as sending paperwork, documents, and information to clients. She also handles ongoing client account administration and trade processing and will ensure your information is kept up to date.
Leanna Arruda
Administrative Assistant
Bringing prior experience from a small plumbing company, Leanna specializes in administrative roles. Her strong foundation in customer service positions her perfectly to contribute to our team's commitment to exceptional client support. With a focus on a friendly, customer-centric approach, Leanna is dedicated to making every client's journey with Assante memorable and enjoyable.
