Lise Rainville-Sommerfeld

Lise is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professionnal and Certified Executor Advisor with CI Assante Capital Management Ltd. She co-owns the downtown Ottawa Assante office and has developed and managed a personal financial advisory practice for individuals and their families for over 30 years. She specializes in financial services for business owners, professionals and high net-worth families. Her services include personalized financial planning, life and disability protection, retirement, business succession planning and estate planning.

Lise believes that building financial independence requires working with someone you can trust and focuses her efforts on each individuals needs to assure they have the appropriate investment and insurance coverage to meet their goals.

Over the years, Lise has worked with outplaced employees in some of the largest private and public firms by familiarizing them with tax, pension and estate issues. In the past she has represented her peers in helping to shape the strategic direction of the company in round table discussions with the CEO and the VP’s of CI Assante Wealth Management.

Giving back to the community is important to Lise and in the past she has been involved in the Girl Guide association, coaching ringette, cycling to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis and being a treasurer of a women’s shelter.

Lise was born and raised in Sudbury and is fluently bilingual. She has spent the past 34 years in Ottawa where she enjoys skiing, golfing, cycling and camping with her husband and two daughters.
