Since 1991 Patrick has been helping individuals and families achieve their financial and lifestyle goals. Working with a network of highly skilled professionals, he is dedicated to providing high-quality advice and integrated wealth management solutions that simplify and enhance the quality of life for his clients. Among the greatest strengths he brings to his client relationships are his knowledge, integrity, commitment to exceptional service and the ability to speak in a language his clients can understand. Building on a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) Degree from Queen's University, Patrick has earned the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, which is recognized internationally as the top professional accreditation. Patrick is also a member of the Assante Ag Group, a national farm advisory group that assists Canadian farm families in the areas of tax planning, retirement planning, and wealth transfer. A strong contributor to the community, Patrick is a fundraiser and volunteer for many charitable organizations in his community including the Special Olympics Canada. Married to Jennifer, they have 2 children Andrew and Avery.
Denise was born and raised in the beautiful city of Kingston, completing her BA in Sociology at Queen's University and presently resides with her husband Tim and children Emma and Jack. Denise joined Patrick's team in 2012 as Administrative Assistant overseeing day-to-day activities within the office. She brings to the team her extensive background in management, customer service, excellent communication and organizational skills from her numerous years of working the retail sector and childcare. Denise enjoys the great outdoors, traveling, warm sunny days and actively participating in school and fundraising events. Her passion for learning, embracing new challenges, professionalism and time management skills will provide you with excellent care for your everyday needs.
After a long-time career in the graphic design industry Melissa most recently joined Patrick’s team in the spring of 2021 as an administrative assistant. Melissa brings with her an extensive technical background and a wide range of unique skills that compliment business development solutions for our team. Her drive and ambitions for personal growth coupled with her professionalism and attention to detail offer you the kind of service you’ve come to expect. Melissa was born and raised in rural southeastern Ontario. After many years of traveling, she settled down with her husband in Kingston to raise their two young sons.

Jordan joined Assante in the Fall of 2021 as an Associate Advisor after several years as a Financial Advisor at one of Canada’s Big Five Banks. Jordan aims to build strong, long-lasting relationships with the clients he’s humbled to serve by leading with integrity and always making their goals and needs his number one priority. He understands that trust is a key pillar of every successful relationship and looks forward to building that foundation with you and your family. Jordan has a passion for financial literacy and providing financial education to help his clients make smarter decisions with their hard-earned wealth. He is equally as passionate for personal development and continuous learning, and will be pursuing further financial planning designations in order to meet the more complex needs of the clients that choose to work with him.
He currently resides in Napanee where he was born and raised. When Jordan’s not at the office, you can find him spending time with his friends and family, enjoying a round a golf, or passionately rooting for one of his favourite Toronto sports teams.
Desmond Rampersad, CLU®
Associate Financial Advisor
Desmond started his financial services career in Toronto over 20 years ago. Over this time, he has built strong relationships with his clients by providing needs-based advice with a client-first approach. In 2017 he completed his CLU (Chartered Life Underwriting) designation. He volunteers with the Bay Street Hoops charity basketball tournament, which helps various charities each year. He moved to Kingston in 2019 and settled into the community with his dog Milo, whom he adopted from the Kingston Humane Society. He enjoys spending time with friends and family and exploring everything Kingston has to offer -especially the restaurants.
