With over 30 years of experience, Nicolas Grady is an accomplished Associate Portfolio Manager and Senior Financial Planning Advisor dedicated to delivering expert, goal-focused guidance. He holds the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designations, and his Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FSCI®) status reflects his commitment to leadership and excellence. His Certified Financial Divorce Specialist (CFDS) designation also highlights his expertise in guiding clients through complex financial transitions.

Nicolas has made meaningful contributions to his field, serving as Chair of IIROC’s Nova Scotia District Council, President of the Halifax Estate Planning Council, and on the boards of Junior Achievement of Nova Scotia and the Nova Scotia Kidney Foundation. Currently, he volunteers with the Canadian Ski Patrol, combining his love for winter sports with first-aid support.

Outside of work, Nicolas enjoys spending time at his cottage in St. Francis Harbour, exploring local cuisine, (attempting to) golf, skiing, and spending time with his wife and their pets.

Evan Snow is a dedicated Wealth Advisor specializing in wealth management and investment research. Evan takes a client-centric approach, offering tailored investment strategies, comprehensive wealth planning, and ongoing relationship management. His focus is on helping clients achieve their financial goals through informed, strategic decisions that are aligned with their unique needs and objectives.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Evan is a passionate sports enthusiast and is an avid supporter of the Toronto Maple Leafs and New England Patriots. Evan enjoys spending time with his better half, Candace, and their two Standard Poodles, Rolo and Piper, who are cherished members of his family.

Rhys Grady is an invaluable member of our team, bringing a blend of academic knowledge and practical experience to her role as Administrative Assistant and Marketing Coordinator. With a strong background in customer service, Rhys is a warm and welcoming presence for clients, whether greeting them in person or over the phone. Her technical skills make her the go-to for office tech support, handling troubleshooting and ensuring our systems run smoothly. In addition, Rhys manages our social media accounts, and she plays an active role in planning and organizing client events. Rhys holds a diploma in Business Administration from Nova Scotia Community College and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing at Mount Saint Vincent University.

Outside the office, Rhys enjoys playing volleyball, creating art, and spending quality time with her boyfriend and two cats.

With over 35 years in the finance industry, Christine Adams brings an exceptional depth of knowledge and unwavering dedication to her role. Known as the heartbeat of our office, Christine’s expertise in account maintenance and processing, combined with her problem-solving skills and approachable, helpful nature, makes her an indispensable resource for both clients and colleagues. She began working with Nick at Assante in 2013, following 15 years at CIBC and an early start to her financial career at Scotia McLeod.

Outside of work, Christine enjoys relaxing at her home in beautiful Gold River, Nova Scotia, with her husband and their cat, Gizmo. She loves gathering with friends and frequently travels to New Brunswick to visit family.
