It’s always a special occasion when we can blend our passions for giving with our work. I’m excited to be an Assante “Circle of Giving” advisor and will be supporting the leading-edge Princess Margaret Hospital in the One Life Gala.
This year we raised over $35,000. For total raised for the foundation close to $342,000
The Joy of Aging is a unique annual event for life-loving women over 40 who cherish their health and intend to keep it. We know you care as much about your mind as you do about your body. This was the 10th Year Event.

Launched in 2009, organized by the Richmond Hill branch of Assante Capital Management Ltd. and run entirely by passionate volunteers, Joy of Aging has to date raised close to $342,000 for the Mackenzie Health Foundation and our fast-growing audience reached over 250 last year.
Proceeds from the 10th Annual Joy of Aging event will help fund the new DASA Program (domestic abuse and sexual assault care centre) at Mackenzie Vaughan Hospital

Portraits of Giving. Janine has served on the RHCOC's Board of Directors and has been on the Government Affairs Committee for some time. Helping the business community thrive in Richmond Hill allows for a better community with which to live and work. Janine had a more than welcoming and exciting tenure as the Chair(2013-2014). Being an active member of the committee for the Bachelor of Commerce degree & other diploma programs, Janine helps & provides guidance to ensure that the programs are current and relevant to industry and business.
The Aphasia Institute is a community-based centre of excellence, pioneering programs and practices that help the 100,000 Canadians with aphasia learn how to communicate in new ways so they can re-join life’s conversations. Janine is involved in monitoring and providing expert advice and counsel on the investment strategy and management of the investment portfolio of the Aphasia Institute’s endowment fund. Janine values the institute's services and encourages individuals to further look into the facility.
