Vital Sign machines are used daily in virtually every area of the hospital. They are used to monitor patients’ vital signs, including their heart beat, blood pressure, breathing rate and temperature. Vital Sign Monitors allow continuous patient monitoring and help physicians and nurses be more efficient. An increasing number of patient conditions and procedures require this level of monitoring. It is important for every woman to know the risk factors and recognize the signs of heart disease and stroke. Your gift toward the purchase of a new vital sign machine at Mackenzie Health will help healthcare professionals collect the right information to help prevent and manage cardiovascular diseases.
